Job Hunting

It's been a while since I did any updates, I've been really hard at work on Tales From the Borderlands and haven't done a ton of personal work. However, recently my friends Shirong, Annie, and Emily asked if I would be interested in collaborating on a zine with them.

The theme was Job Hunting.

I've had some difficult experiences looking for work, and I've had a lot of people ask me for advice about finding a job so I thought it would be nice to post this up. It probably isn't super helpful in terms of what to do (in fact it's more useful in terms of what not to do), but it definitely touches on how it felt personally landing my first job and subsequently being laid off. It was a really strange and surreal experience and I'm happy I got the opportunity to capture it somewhere.

I hope you enjoy it.

  2. I've been through this cycle quite a few times since starting my artistic career. Thankfully it get's a bit easier to cope and get back on your feet after a while.

I'm curious, did you spend your time just improving portfolio and applying to postings or did you also make time for networking and other aspects such as that?

*Sorry for double post, didn't see an edit button

  3. Saying 'O fuck' isnt really gonna help you
    get anywhere when you're upNdead.

    1-outta-1 bites-the-dust, babe.
1-outta-1s gotta face the same Divine Judgement.
1-outta-1 will face the same prospect:
only 2 realms after our demise, dear...
and 1 of em aint too cool.

    you need to live4jesus...
    NOT the whorizontal.
    God bless your indelible soul.
